Port Melbourne Soccer Club can announce that Goran Lozanovski will join Semir Sivic as assistants to head coach Eric Vassiliadis for the 2016 season.
Lozanovski joins the Sharks boasting a wealth of experience following his time as head coach of Northcote City, Bentleigh Greens, Hume City and Preston Lions.
Capped nine times by the Socceroos, Lozanovski led Northcote to the 2013 Victorian Premier League championship after joining the club in 2012.
Meanwhile, the club has added both James Karvelis and Bonel Obradovic to its roster.
The former comes to the JL Murphy Reserve from NPL1 side Kingston City, while Obradovic joins from Northcote, having previously won the 2013 title under Lozanovski’s stewardship.
Coach Eric Vassiliadis is overjoyed with the additions to the squad.
“Bonel gives us great versatility, composure and further quality,” he said.
“He has played in successful teams in the past and we are delighted that he has agreed to join.
“James is a rising star who played a pivotal role for Kingston last year. We are looking forward to developing him and for him to be a key cog in our defensive setup and style.”
The duo join Jamie De Abreu, Adrian Zahra and Alan Kearney to have penned deals with the club.
