Port Melbourne Soccer Club aims to become a club of choice for women and girls.
We relaunched our women’s program in 2019 and currently have two senior women’s teams competing in the Football Victoria State League system. Both teams have tasted early success, winning promotion from their respective divisions, with one reaching the State Grand Final.
After a disrupted 2020, expressions of interest for the 2021 season are now open for players of all experience levels.
We aim to provide a fun yet challenging environment for all players, with a strong emphasis on player development.
Our State League 4 side is a mixed abilities team, with a focus on fitness and learning core skills in a competitive environment. This team is ideal for those players who are still learning the game.
Our State League 3 side is technically and tactically more challenging, with an emphasis beyond the core skills. This team is for those players with more experience who are looking to challenge themselves to play at as high a level as possible.
We place great emphasis on fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, and believe that being part of a team is about more than the time you spend together on game day.
